Edward Moses

"If it's not challenging, it's probably not very interesting and if there is no adversity, it's probably not very interesting to anyone else.

I always try to think of them as opportunities, part of the game that's always changing.

You have to anticipate and mitigate the effect."

"Bringing Star Power to Earth"

Ed Moses' background in physics, engineering, technology and scientific computing opened the door to many large scale scienific adventures: Principle Associate Director and Project Manager, National Ignition Facility at Lawerence Livermore National Laboratory and President of the Giant Magellan Telescope Organization among them.

This site will focus on the visionary aspect behind the (LIFE) Laser Inertial Fusion Energy Project between 2008-2013. Under Ed's leadership, LIFE aimed to develop the technologies necessary to convert the laser-driven inertial confinement fusion concept being developed in the National Ignition Facility (NIF) into a practical commercial power plant that aimed to lower costs using mass-produced fuel elements, simplified maintenance, and diode lasers with higher electrical efficiency.

Ed is currently president of a High Technology consulting company concentrating on larger scale engineering physics, chemistry and bio-tech projects and facilities by bringing together coalitions of international scientific, technology, engineering, and construction efforts to enable the design, construction and commissioning of complex projects and facilities.
